Between the hours of 11:00 PM CDT on Saturday, June 23 and 7:00 AM CDT on Sunday, June 24, both the WorkRecords site (www.workrecords.com) and Kiosks will go offline for a period of time.  This will occur as part of a data center migration by our provider.  During this time period, users will not be able to access www.workrecords.com and workers will not be able to check in/out at the Kiosks.

  • WILL SERVICE BE INTERRUPTED?
Yes.  WorkRecords central data server provider has scheduled an eight-hour maintenance window starting at 11:00 PM CDT on Saturday, June 23rd and closing at 07:00 AM CDT the following morning. The goal is to return customers to service as quickly as possible within that window.

  • WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE KIOSKS?
At some point during this window you will see a "Service Unavailable" message appear on your Kiosk.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please instruct your employees not to restart, power on and off, unplug, etc. the Kiosk during this period. Taking these actions may take the Kiosk offline from our support services so that we are unable to fully restore the Kiosk once all maintenance has been completed. Please click here for a sign to post next to your Kiosk to make workers aware NOT to turn off the Kiosk.

  • WHO WILL TEST MY KIOSK FOLLOWING THE MAINTENANCE?
WorkRecords will restore all of the Kiosks remotely as long as they are powered on, connected to the Internet and reachable remotely.

  • SHOULD I KEEP MANUAL RECORDS OF TIME WHILE THE KIOSKS ARE OFFLINE?
Yes, all punches occurring while the Kiosk is offline will need to be entered manually once all services are restored.  Click here for a sign-in sheet for your workers to use during this time period.  While the central servers are down, you cannot enter in time via WorkRecords.com, as all WorkRecords services will be down.

  • CAN I REQUEST THE DOWN TIME BE RESCHEULED?
No, unfortunately this is a mandatory maintenance window for allWorkRecords servers to be moved to the new platform.

  • WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF MOVING THE WORKRECORDS SERVERS?
In short, it will improve reliability. From a networking perspective, our serviceprovider's new shared aggregation platform provides new state-of-the-art server hardware and redundancy.
