WorkRecords utilizes employees, consultants, and advisors, in addition to using vendors like Verizon and Rackspace for key services. Following are brief bios of selected individuals.

 

J. Chris O'Neil

Chris O’Neill is Chairman, CEO and co-founder of WorkRecords. He has a background in software development and technology consulting. Most recently, he was founder and CEO of a technology consulting and software application development firm and co-founder and CEO of the Forest Products International Exchange (fpix), a venture capital funded startup e-commerce company serving the lumber industry. He has executive experience in wholesale and retail, real estate, and banking. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.



Bob Stegall

Bob Stegall is the President of WorkRecords. Stegall joined WorkRecords after successfully serving as President/COO of a large staffing firm with hundreds of branches, focused primarily on large, multinational corporations using contract labor. Beginning his career at IBM, he has extensive background in sales, strategy, marketing, and operations at a variety of firms. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.

 

Al Hoover

Prior to joining WorkRecords as a key advisor, Al Hoover founded Leadout Advisors as Managing Director, providing executive leadership and hands-on execution to firms seeking strategic planning and corporate development expertise. Hoover has served as Managing Director—Corporate Development at AT&T, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and investments in value-added services and technology, and as EVP, General Counsel and Secretary of Sterling Commerce. He earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Northwestern University. 

 

Matt Peiffer, CPA

Matt Peiffer has more than 20 years of CFO, finance and accounting experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies. He has held key roles in firm in early stage start-ups. The companies he has served in industries ranging from telecom to medical software to medical waste to trading software. Peiffer graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in finance.

 

Kevin Miller

Kevin Miller is co-founder of and key advisor to WorkRecords. He is the founder and President of Whitestone Miller, Inc., a venture consulting firm. Through WMI and as an executive, Miller has served Fortune 500 firms and privately held companies, with special focus on organizations in transition (e.g., start-ups, turnarounds). Founding Dean, Distinguished Professor, and Executive-in-Residence at the School of Business and Leadership at Colorado Christian University, Miller is a published author, radio host, and seminar speaker. He started his career at Ernst and Young and has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Oklahoma State University.


Bill Dougherty

Prior to joining WorkRecords as a Client Service Executive, Dougherty was a Senior VP with Miller Global Properties, LLC where he was responsible for the day-to-day asset management of hotel properties and assisted with the acquisition and development processes for hotel assets. He was a hotel GM for signature properties with Westin Hotels and Resorts. He has degrees from both Southern Illinois University and Florida State University. 


Tony Harvey

Tony Harvey is the Lead Programmer and is President of Cruise Software, a software and services company serving retail clients. He has served distributed industries like retail with easy-to-use applications requiring little training. He has designed and developed key dimensions of “exchange” software where buyers and sellers transact daily on a routinized, streamlined basis. He is experienced on a variety of platforms and programming languages. He attended Purdue University


Heather Mayfield

Heather Mayfield serves as Senior Operations Executive. Heather has served leading national and international staffing companies (e.g., Corestaff, Snelling, Pro Staff) in multiple VP and Director roles for key areas covering the gamut of multi-market P&L responsibility, training, operations, service performance, sales, staff development, and virtual teaming. She graduated from Tarleton State University.


Connie Goodman

Connie serves as a Director of Client Implementation and, previous to that, as a Client Services Manager. Before joining WorkRecords, Connie served CareerBuilder as a National Sales Recruiter and National Account Consultant. At Pro Staff, Connie filled key roles including Senior Account Operations Manager, National Account Manager, and Market Research Analyst. Connie began her career at Burnett Personnel Services in Austin, Texas after graduation from the University of Texas.


Rebecca Bash

 

Rebecca is a Client Support Manager. Prior to joining WorkRecords, Rebecca was an Executive Staffing Coordinator for Affinity Staffing and an On-Site Manager for Spherion Workforce Architects. These operations positions cover the gamut of driving results with clients, worker matching and productivity, and milestone achievement entailing services to wide variety of clients and worker profiles.


Christy Gabbert

Christy is an Implementation Manager. Bringing a significant breadth of experience in the staffing industry, Christy has worked for international, national, and regional firms as varied as Randstad, Robert Half, Snelling, and Beacon Hill Associates. And her portfolio assignments have run the gamut from business development to operations to on-sites to branch management to strategic alliances to staffing supervisor. Along the way, she earned multiple awards. Her degree is from Austin Community College in Texas.


Angie Rodriquez

Angie is an Implementation Manager. Angie has extensive experience in operations and sales, both inside and outside the staffing industry. While staffing comprises an essential core of her professional experience, she also has filled key operations slots for Kroger, Keller Williams Remax, and Injury and Rehab Associates. During her career, Angie has obtained numerous certifications and licenses, including a Texas real estate license, HIPPA Compliance Program certification, and Certified Professional Placement Coordinator certification. She graduated from Mountain View in Dallas, Texas.   

 

Kris Crawford

Kris serves in Client Services. Kris has deep experience across the key areas of staffing and people fulfillment. She worked as talent manager and corporate recruiter for CareerBuilder.com and ProActivate, and she worked in sales, account management, and on-site management for large corporate clients (pharmaceuticals, technology, business services) for Pro Staff Personnel Services. She is a graduate of the University of North Texas.


 

Advisors and Consultants

John Mullen

John Mullen is a consultant and advisor. John was VP in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs and Co-Head of the Capital Markets Group focused on the US origination of all fixed income products including bonds, derivatives, securitizations and tax products. After that, he was Managing Director and Head of Specialty Finance of the Investment Banking Division at J.P. Morgan. In addition, John has specialized in financial services advisory, merchant banking, and M&A for various firms he founded or led. John earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northwestern University, the latter from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management.


Paul Jenkins

Paul Jenkins is a consultant and developer and President of Jenkins Technology, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in IT quality enhancement services and “Virtual CIO/CTO” engagements including technology assessment, system architecture, process and OO mentoring, and business development assistance. He has served many businesses, each with a specific focus on leveraging technology. He holds a BS in electrical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.


Kelly Jones, CPA

Kelly Jones has spent over 20-years in banking, financial services and real estate. He was CFO of Beal Bank; a $7 billion Texas chartered savings bank. He served as Deputy Regional Director of the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC). His responsibilities with the RTC included the management and liquidation of over $8 billion of financial assets, 58,000 mortgage loans, 5,000 non-performing loans and 2,000 REO properties. He graduated from Louisiana State University.


Bruce Cheatham, Esq.

Bruce Cheatham is a partner at Bracewell Guiliani. He has practiced securities law since 1972, primarily focusing on the representation of publicly held companies. He has experience with securities regulation and compliance issues, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters, and raising capital in public and private offerings. Cheatham earned his undergraduate degree and law degree from Southern Methodist University.


Chris Volkmer, Esq.

Chris Volkmer is the founder of Volkmer Law Firm, LLC, focusing primarily on privacy and data security, transactions involving outsourcing of business functions, technology acquisition and licensing, e-commerce, marketing and distribution. Chris has served as a member of the Board of Editors for the Privacy and Data Security Law Journal and frequent speaks and writes on privacy, technology, and data security matters. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas and his law degree from the St. Mary’s University School of Law.


Glenn Boisbrun, Esq.

Glenn Boisbrun of Slater, Matsil, LLC has a broad range of intellectual property experience that includes handling patent and trademark preparation, patent and trademark prosecution, and litigation matters. He also has been involved in patent licensing matters and has provided opinion letters relating to defenses against patent infringement. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He has a degree in electrical engineering from Pennsylvania State University and received his law degree from Louisiana State University.
