The view Audit Workers Using WorkConnect will help you monitor location boundaries for workers checking in and out. Here are some sample views to save and use to create your alerts.

*Note the following screen captures are from a Labor Supplier's view.  The Labor Buyer's view is similar but may not include all the same selectors.

Did the worker choose NOT to share the location?

  1. Confirm your date range. Will you run this daily? Or a couple of times a week to review multiple days?
  2. RECOMMENDED Input a specific property name.   Keep in mind; this view includes photos, so smaller data sets may be preferred for optimum performance.
  3. Use the selector "Less than" and 0 so that you will pull all punches where the worker chooses not to share their location.  The distance column will display -1 when a worker does not share their location.
  4. Generate the view and then save the view.
  5. Create your alert.

If a worker does not share their location, you may want to review the security photo at check-in and check-out to help confirm that the worker was at the property. If you would like to restrict the worker's ability to punch if they do not share their location and if their location is not within the assigned boundary please open a ticket with WorkRecords Support.

Is the worker OUTSIDE the location boundary?

  1. Confirm your date range. Will you run this daily? Or a couple of times a week to review multiple days?
  2. RECOMMENDED Input a specific property name.  Keep in mind; this view includes photos, so smaller data sets may be preferred for optimum performance.
  3. Use the selector "Greater than" and 0 to pull all punches where the worker was not inside the location boundary.
  4. Generate the view and then save the view.
  5. Create your alert.

We have seen a very small number of cases where the location stored in WorkRecords is outside the location boundary, but the security photo shows that the worker is at the location. This will be addressed in an upcoming enhancement.  It is always important to carefully review the security photos as part of the process before addressing the worker.
