Many workplaces have set location boundaries that require workers to be within a few meters of the WorkConnect wall-mounted QR Code in order to complete a punch.  For enhanced security, many workplaces are also choosing to require that each worker allow WorkConnect to access their smartphone's camera for scanning the QR code and taking the security photos and location for capturing the location at the time of punch.   When access to the camera or location has previously been declined the preferences can be reset.  

    


Step 1: When logged in to WorkConnect move the blue WorkConnect menu bar down to select the three dots in the top right.  

Step 2: Select settings from the menu.


Step 3: Then select Permissions.




Step 4: Toggle the options for location and camera to reflect "allowed".


Step 5: Select Reset.
