Each workplace has a location boundary to help identify where the worker's punch occurred. This boundary is set based on the workplace address and Google map coordinates. Adjustments can be requested through WorkRecords support. Users can use the view Audit Workers Using WorkConnect to determine the worker's punch location (in or out punch).
Workplaces may choose to activate a GeoLocation Boundary. This activation will require workers to share their location, and the location will be compared to the boundary. If a worker is not within the boundary, the worker will receive a message that he is too far away from the location, and his punch will not be captured.
