An Employee Identification Number (EIN) can be added to a worker's profile in WorkRecords. Here are key considerations for managing EINs:
Consistency Across Orders:
An EIN should only be used when it applies to all Orders for the worker, regardless of the Labor Buyer.Adding an EIN:
Labor Suppliers can add the EIN through the Search Orders and Templates View.Automatic Application:
Once added to one Order, the EIN is automatically applied to all active and inactive Orders associated with the worker.Removing an EIN:
Removing an EIN will impact all active and inactive Orders linked to the worker's SSN.
Steps for entering an EIN:
- Navigate to Reports on the blue menu bar, choose My Views and then click on the View called: Search Orders and Templates*.
- Search for the worker and then click the OrderNums hyperlink in the light blue Action Items area near the top of the screen.
- Finally, enter the EIN that you wish to assign to this worker and click the Done Working button to complete the update.
